Mission Critical
I read through my friend, Jeffrey Morris’, movie script called “Persephone,” and it painted a great picture in my head. There was this panic to “save the world”, a loss of control. And isn’t life like being strapped into a rocket most of the time?! For me it seems like as adults we lose that childlike sense of wonder, faith and innocence in the business and craziness that is life. That’s what this song is all about. That having little to ZERO control, I do my best each 24 hours to be the best version of me possible. This song is about that quest and to regain that childlike faith and innocence.
